[Video] Paris Hilton cuddles with white lion cubs in Casela

Paris Hilton and her sister Nicki recently posted some spectacular photos from their Mauritian trip, brandishing glittering tattoos on their faces and some lusciously long blond braid hairstyles.

The two famous sisters were living it up on the beaches of Mauritius just before visiting the local zoo, where they cuddled with some adorable and very lucky white lion cubs. The cubs seemed to be enjoying the company of the socialites - and the free publicity - almost as much as the Hilton sisters enjoyed being there.

Oddly enough, Paris Hilton, who is about to turn 30, looked very different than her usual larger than life self. Perhaps it was the island locale on which she was frolicking and taking pictures, but her style seems almost more bohemian than it was in the past. This is a girl who, in her memoir entitled Confessions of an Heiress: A Tongue-in-Chic Peek Behind the Pose, cited Barbie as her “fashion icon.”

Even Paris Hilton’s makeup looks have taken a turn—they are now more minimalist, yet still beautiful, like the looks we saw in her recent pictures of her Mauritius trip.

While she has not completely disappeared from the spotlight, it is safe to say that the model and actress is no longer the much sought after TV personality she was in the early 2000’s.

Her little known minion at the time, Kim Kardashian, has stolen that title from her, leaving Paris Hilton to mature and come into her own as she approaches her 30s. Maybe it is for the best, though, because now Paris Hilton can just enjoy being herself, while traveling the world with her friends and family.

That is not to say that Paris Hilton will cease to attend Hollywood events, film premieres, after parties, awards shows, and fashion shows, however. After all, you can take the girl out of the party, but you can never take the party out of the girl. We will most certainly continue to see Paris Hilton out on the town in LA and New York, but maybe not to the same degree as before.
